Hibisco Dress

Designer: MarĂa Bouvier
Materials: Botanical-dyed organic cotton
Care: See below

The Hibisco Dress is MarĂa Bouvier's best seller. With a relaxed fit, button-front closure, shirt collar, and dolman short sleeves, it's sharp and easy to throw on for any occasion.

MarĂa Bouvier is an Uruguayan label born out of the passion for color, the environment, and fashion. Made with certified organic cotton that is produced in fair ways, each piece is hand-dyed with botanicals by MarĂa Alejandra Bouvier, the designer and creator of the brand. Her natural dye materials include onion skin, hibiscus flowers, roses, avocado stones, acacia flowers, turmeric, different wood barks, and so much more. These bespoke pieces are true works of art.

Care:

Wash it by hand with room-temperature water, apart from other clothes, as the fabric may continue to bleed color for several washes. Natural dyes are reactive, meaning that color can change if the PH is modified, so you should only use neutral PH liquid soap. Hang it to dry in the shadow, avoiding long hours of sun exposure, as it can cause colors to fade faster. Iron the garment inside out for better care.
